As someone who's actually bought several of those sneakers, I'd say that's a valid concern. While I do love the classic Y2K aesthetic, I also think it's important for brands to keep pushing boundaries and offering new iterations of those styles. Otherwise, it can feel like they're just rehashing the same thing year after year. Plus, who doesn't want a pair of kicks that look good now AND have resale value in the future?
